Is Moltaqa halal-certified?
Yes. Moltaqa is fully halal-certified. Our alcohol-free menu includes signature mocktails, traditional Moroccan mint tea, Karkade hibiscus iced tea, Moroccan coffee, and imported Hawai soda — all prepared without alcohol.
What cocktails does Moltaqa serve?

Our wine list spans Morocco, Burgundy, Bordeaux, the Rhone Valley, Champagne, and British Columbia. Selections are chosen to complement Moroccan cuisine — tagines, couscous, pastilla, and slow-braised dishes. Ask your server for pairing recommendations.
Does Moltaqa serve Champagne?
Yes. Our sparkling selection includes Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial, Laurent-Perrier Cuvee Rose, Perrier-Jouet Grand Brut, and Mionetto Prosecco. Bottle service is available for celebrations and group bookings.
What beers does Moltaqa have on tap?
We rotate three local Vancouver taps — currently Strange Fellows Beldame Pilsner, Parkside IPA, and Strange Fellows Talisman Pale Ale. Imported bottles include Alhambra Reserva 1925, Peroni, Guinness, and Carlsberg.
What is Moroccan mint tea?
Moroccan mint tea is gunpowder green tea brewed with fresh mint and brown sugar, poured from height to aerate the tea and create a thin layer of foam. At Moltaqa it is brewed traditionally and served at $10 per pot. A second pot is always complimentary.
Can I walk in for drinks only?
Yes. The Moltaqa bar welcomes walk-ins daily from 11:30 AM. Reservations are recommended for dining but not required for bar seating.
Does Moltaqa offer bottle service?
Yes. Bottle service is available for Champagne and select wine. Contact us in advance for group bookings and private dining arrangements.
