Join us for intimate live oud performances every week at Moltaqa Moroccan Restaurant. Mouhannad Loth performs every Sunday, bringing the warm, soulful sound of the oud into our dining room — a truly different way to spend an evening in Yaletown.

Mouhannad Loth performs live oud every Friday and Sunday at Moltaqa. His playing is warm, expressive, and deeply melodic — bringing a calm, soulful energy to the room that changes the pace of the whole evening.
Whether you are starting your weekend on a Friday or settling into a relaxed Sunday dinner, the oud creates an atmosphere you will not find anywhere else in Vancouver.
The oud is a short-neck, pear-shaped string instrument known for its deep, warm sound. Often called the king of instruments in Arabic music, it brings a rich and emotional tone to any room it fills.
"There is a noticeable shift in the room when the music starts. Conversations get quieter, people lean in, and the whole evening slows down in the best possible way."
Walk-ins are welcome, though we recommend a reservation on Friday and Sunday evenings so your table is ready when the music begins.
If you have been looking for a live music restaurant in Vancouver that feels different, Moltaqa is worth your evening.
Our musicians and performers are also available on special request for private occasions, including birthdays, anniversaries, corporate dinners, and celebrations.
